The COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) ended on May 11, 2023.  After May 11, patients may have out-of-pocket costs for COVID-19 tests, at-home COVID-19 tests, and treatments that may have been covered in full during the PHE. Some individuals may have to pay out-of-pocket for COVID-19 vaccines. Coverage for COVID-19-related care will vary depending on your health insurance plan. If you have questions about your coverage for COVID-19-related services, please contact your health insurance’s customer service department.
