What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information – No information is collected except weight and gender for the purpose of BAC estimation. The University of Michigan has no access to this data.
Automatically Collected Information -There is no information that is collected automatically, except that the app was used and for how long (but with no identifying information).
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This application does collect precise information about the location of your device, should you allow it. Sometimes, when you are out in the community, you may not know exactly where you are. GPS information is used to show you an address on your phone, so that you may provide the location to a cab company when you want a safe ride home.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
No other parties have access to the information (except App Annie and the downloading and usage data).
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
