Personal interests

I try to constantly surround myself with music. Whether I need something playing in the background, want to belt out songs in the car, or am looking to dance like no one's watching, music never fails to elevate my mood! Beyond music, I will never say no to an hour long phone call with friends. Catching up with the people I'm closest to in life is like a warm hug. If it's not the lives of my friends and family, then I will happily also catch up on reality TV. Their lives are just as entertaining! When I need a mental escape, nothing is better than watching other people deal with their drama to help me forget about my own.

Approach to wellness

I want students to thrive and not just survive. College students are bombarded with stressors in every area of their life. How do we overcome challenges and find ways to still get the most out of our experiences? My goal is to help you discover what is most important to you, how you best navigate life's obstacles, and how you will nurture your well-being. Being fully in touch with ourselves and secure in acting on our needs opens the door to so much wellness. Through reflection and exploration, we can discover answers within ourselves. From these answers and new plans forward, we can get to a place beyond simply surviving and help ourselves truly thrive.
