Approach to wellness: I believe that achieving wellness is an imperfect, lifelong process that everyone has the capacity within themselves to pursue. Wellness looks different for everyone, and I am interested in helping folks find what their version of wellness looks like and feels like. I believe that the different dimensions of wellness are highly interactive and it's important to explore how they impact each other. I reject rigid approaches to wellness and am interested in finding flexible and sustainable wellness goals. I aim to meet students wherever they are on their journey and help them figure out what holistic wellness looks like for them.
Personal interests: I value physical activity and being outdoors as a big part of my own wellness. I enjoy running, hiking, and swimming and I appreciate good company for all of these activities. My happy place is definitely sitting with friends or family and conversing over a good meal, preferably outside in downtown Ann Arbor (during the summer of course). I love road trips (good company required), reading fiction, and watching (mostly drama and horror) films. I am a curious person. I enjoy learning new things and I believe in the idea of being both a teacher and learner.
