Approach to wellness: Wellness coaching is foremost a personal and specialized experience, and I approach wellness coaching by centering the needs, interest and expertise of the individual. I utilize an identity-reflexive and assets-based approach to wellness that honors someone's experiences, upbringing and identities. My purpose as a wellness coach is to help identify different approaches that a student can engage in order to address their needs holistically and succeed in college.
Personal Interests: As someone who grew up in rural Montana, building relationships and community and exploring the natural landscape of where I live are very important to me. I love new experiences, whether that's around trying new foods, visiting a city or country I haven't been to, listening to music or reading a new book. When I need to recharge, I often turn to video games, playing piano or game nights with friends.
