Nutrition services are provided by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in a positive manner to support well-being. Considering health needs, culture, and lifestyle, the dietitian can assist you with a variety of nutrition-related concerns, such as:

  • Disordered eating
  • Food intolerance/food allergies
  • Gastro-intestinal issues
  • Elevated cholesterol
  • Prediabetes and diabetes
  • Sports nutrition
  • Meal planning
  • Body composition testing

Fees and referrals

  • For currently enrolled U-M students on the Ann Arbor campus, there is no cost to visit the Nutrition Clinic and referrals are not required.
  • For non-students: UHS is a network 1 provider for U-M Premier Care/BCN and a referral from your PCP is required. You may also be required to pay a copay and/or deductible.

The Eating Issue Network team works together to provide mental health support, medical care, and nutritional therapy support to students. Contact information for these services include:

  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) - call 734-764-8312 and ask for an Eating Issue Network provider
