Your visit to UHS may include the Medical Clinic, where you may receive care for needs such as:
- Acute problems such as a fever, respiratory illness, stomach pain, sprained ankle, skin rash, and minor emergencies
- Chronic problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma
- Preventive care such as physical exams
Our staff are fully licensed, credentialed and include medical doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurses. We recommend that you select one clinician as your primary care provider (PCP), with whom you will consult for all your health care needs, or we can recommend a clinician for you. Meet the staff at Related Staff (below), Clinician Directory and Nursing Services.
If you need more advanced evaluation or treatment:
A UHS clinician may refer you to a UHS Specialist or outside specialist.
Most medical services require an appointment, however we offer options for urgent needs. See:
- Schedule an Appointment.
- Nurse Advice by Phone, day or night, which may save you a trip to UHS or the ER
